Missions

The FGPCD’s mission is to contribute to the development and promotion of a private sector and a network of modern very small and medium-sized enterprises and industries (TPME / TPMI) capable of promoting the economic and social development of Djibouti.

In this regard, the FGPCD is responsible for:

Facilitating the granting of financing to national companies, through risk sharing with credit institutions, microfinance institutions and other financial institutions;
To allow the realization of various projects and programs presenting satisfactory conditions of viability and financial balance, in accordance with the sectoral priorities defined by the Government;
To contribute, in conjunction with public or private organizations responsible for assisting promoters and recipients of funding, to facilitate the preparation, implementation and monitoring of these projects;
Respond to the demand of small and medium-term enterprises, by encouraging lenders to offer them adapted and diversified financial products, in the form of short and medium-term loans and leasing.
